Where Tech meets Church
8 Jul
So here’s the first of my short interviews that I recently mentioned with (semi) well known web folks.
Today’s personality is Anthony Coppedge whom recently wrote the eBook “The Reason Your Church Must Twitter” – my thanks to Anthony.
1. What’s on your current / recent reading list and why?
“Good to Great: Social Sectors” – because this addendum by Jim Collins helps shore up some of the Good-To-Great principles as they apply when profit isn’t the bottom line; “From Dream to Destiny” – by Robert Morris – because I love the story of Joseph and how God took him through so much before giving him great privilege and responsibility.
2. List one bit of advice you try to live by?
Find what you absolutely love to do and then find a way to get paid to do it.
3. Half-full, half-empty or static and why?
Half-full – I’m assuming you mean do I see life as optomistic or pessimistic? I’m an optomist.
4. What would you say to a child wanting to do what you do?
Remember to keep your focus on serving and on helping people; the rest comes with a lot of learning and experience.
5. Name one thing would you like to do that you haven’t already?
Skydiving (and with my wife, too!).
