First off let me say that I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and that the New Year brings you only blessings in abundance. My two week hiatus is over …
In 2009 I have made one resolution and I know I can stick too it but the task ahead of me is formidable. The main issue being in trying to get the other side to partake.
Simply put, my resolution is:
To put my Church onto a more professional footing in their dealings with all things technical.
So how do I plan to do this? Easy, I’m going to request monthly meetings (initially) to discuss all technical aspects with the leadership team. In it I intend to set targets or actions for the leadership team and will bring this up month by month as necessary.
Is this too bullish? Or is it the right approach for a Church that, from my perspective, is as much use as a chocolate teapot when it comes to organisational aspects.
