Where’s My SIdebar?

My sidebar has gone walkabout ….

Scroll down far enough and you’ll find it beneath all the posts. At first I thought the theme had become corrupted but no matter how many times I re-copy it up, it remains that way. So I’ve tried sundry other themes including the classic and default – all with the same result.

Now I can barely html my way out of a paper bag let alone suss out the use of PHP (one day I’d like to fix that) so if anyone has any clues as to what I’ve done and can point me at the solution then please share.

My guess, for what it’s worth is either a dodgy plugin or some setting I’ve changed. So I’m off to fiddle with plugins to see what happens.

edit: Nope, not my plugins.

The only time time I have seen this is when I have changed fonts form one post to another or put in an image that was too big for the post. I’m not saying that is the issue, and can’t expalin why it happens. Just saying what I have seen.

I’m pretty sure I haven’t changed anything and the only picture is the gadget … not sure when my sidebar went but I only just noticed it.

Unless someone else has a better idea, I’ll just re-install WP.

Good luck sir. Did you happen to notice when you you are viewing a single post the sidebar is just fine? I’d be curious if it goes away on it’s own after a few more posts. If it does then you might suspect something in one of your posts. Check out the following post about the issue you may be having. http://samdevol.com/wordpress-troubleshooting-what-happened-to-my-sidebar/

Ah good spot! It would seem my "practical website planning" post has messed it up. And no surprises that it is a copy and paste from a word document – woes of the world via MS continue…..
